About Us

Zimbabwe Peace and Development Initiative (ZPDI) is a grassroots, non-profit organization established in 2016 and formally registered in 2017. We are committed to facilitating sustainable peace and development initiatives for women and youth in Zimbabwe. Our humanitarian approach centers on advocating for peace as a cornerstone for development, focusing on socio-economic and cultural-based decision-making spaces for sustainable growth.

1 Ruzivo Programme / Vocational Training Centres

Aims to provide vocational training to improve the livelihoods of women and vulnerable youths, focusing on out-of-school individuals and economically disadvantaged women.

Focuses on political and gender conflict resolution through peace dialogues, promoting a pacific approach in conflict management.

4 Tambanudza Ruoko Programme / Reach-Out Poverty Reduction

Assists the less privileged, including elderly, people with disabilities, and children, with essential needs such as food, clothing, and shelter.
